About Myself:

My name is Wendy Truax and I earned my teaching degree at Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston Idaho. I majored in mathematics. I taught 3 years at Lapwai, Idaho where I taught on the Nez Pierce Reservation. I taught Jr. High mathematics, Algebra, and Advanced Math.
I then moved to Montana and taught Prep. for Algebra and Business Math at Great Falls High for two years.
Since we lived in Fort Benton, I then accepted a job at Fort Benton High School and taught 19 years. I have taught nearly every math class offered over the years, ending with Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Advanced Math, and AP Calculus.
I have my master's degree in Computers in Education from Lesley University.
I wanted a change after so many years in Fort Benton so I accepted a position at CMR in 2015 and taught there for two years. Because of declining enrollment at the high school, I was moved to East Middle School. After teaching a year of 8th grade I am excited to be back in Fort Benton to once again teach High School math. I bring back with me new experiences and knowledge. I was excited to be a longhorn again!
4 years later I retired to watch the grandkids. Now I am back half-time and loving every bit of it!
